Lateresa “LA” Jones is a wife, mother, grandmother, business owner, nationally recognized child advocate, and a qualified Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Florida’s 20th Congressional District. Guided by faith, resilience, and conservative principles, she has built a career around the people most policy debates leave out.

A survivor-advocate and public speaker, Jones works with RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) to support survivors and advance policies that prioritize victims and hold perpetrators accountable. She is the Founder of Grandmas for the Generations, a grassroots organization mobilizing families to defend children and preserve core values for the next generation. She is also an active member of Bikers Against Child Abuse International (BACA) and a Florida-licensed real estate professional.

Jones has led conservative minority-outreach efforts nationwide and serves as a member of Governor Ron DeSantis’ Faith & Community Initiative — working at the intersection of government, faith, and vulnerable communities rather than talking about it from the outside.

She studied at Wayne State University in Detroit and the College of Central Florida, and is a graduate of the Florida State School of Real Estate. She is based in Hollywood, Florida.
