Federal Contribution Limits

  • Individual contribution limit: $3,500 per election (primary and general are separate elections)
  • Married couples may each contribute up to the limit
  • PAC contribution limit: $5,000 per election
  • Contributions from corporations, labor unions, federal contractors, and foreign nationals are prohibited
